Review of Daggar SAP6 and Tactical Imports

I just got one and had it out for the first time today.
Functioned perfectly with several types of ammo. (Fed, Win, Challenger)
I did notice that one mag needs to be wrestled out, though.

I dunno dude. Someone offers a free replacement on an alleged one-off Lemon I'd take it in a heart beat. Same can definitely not be said for my factory new 870 that won't eject... Remington, Dagger, etc all have the possibility of one slipping past QC.

My factory new 870 had issue too. Can't pump the action open? Polish the chamber, it worked on mine. Also stay away from the cheap Winchester shells. Those were the worst. Federal ran good for me. After I polished the chamber the Winchester ran OK, but still a little sticky.

Well glad you guys have had good luck with your SAP6's, mine defiantly did not. Make sure your front bead sight screw and rear screw are tight, Mine came loose and blew off at the range...and was lost:(

Its up on EE cheap for someone that has the time to mess with it.

I have a SAP6 so maybe I can be of help. Put an empty mag in the gun. Make sure it's locking in properly. Does it wiggle in the magwell? If it does, it shouldn't. I have 4 mags that function perfectly and they have NO wiggle in the magwell. I have 4 that SUUUUUUCK like yours. they wiggle in the magwell. As soon as I get TI's mailing address the 4 bad ones are going back and they will send me new ones as per our e-mail conversation. I can't tell exactly what's wrong with your gun, but for me it's the mags!

Thanks for the info, yes all my mags wiggle around in the magwell with the action open. Just got back from the range and it still dosent work that well. After 200 rounds on this gun I give up.

Ok I attempted to shoot a 3 gun today... It didn't go well. I no longer recommend the SAP6 and I'll be contacting TI about it and if they won't exchange EVERYTHING for new my gun will be on the EE as well. Video to follow.

Video will be a while and I need to go out for a bit. Eventually this link will work.

Sure glad I opted for the Valtro over this one. It's run like a top and chews through all the ammo I've tried!

Very happy with it, though the $100 mags are a little tough to swallow.

Hmmmm... Certainly seems like the mag is causing the binding, I wonder if the feed angle is wrong, or if the shell is catching in the chamber, or perhaps even the bolt is catching the feed lips?

Not acceptable either way.

Yup you can see that in the video.
I actually watched the video, but I guess my mind was elsewhere at the time. Thought it was just the 11 round mags.

This sucks. I got one from the first shipment and haven't shot it yet. Not sure if I even wanna keep it now or just get rid of it..

Yup ,one word...VALTRO

Lemons exist no matter what manufacturer. That being said our repair rate for the SAP6 is under 2.5% :runaway:

Valtro is $200-$300 more expensive, nearly double the price for spare mags (only limited to 7 rounds), 2 lbs heavier, has a fixed stock instead of telescoping and has a short rail instead of monolithic. No pump assist and not too much in the accessories department either...

Our offer is still no the table if you'd like a replacement. Just send the gun in and we'll have a new one sent out.

Sounds like a reasonable offer.

Would have been reasonable back in March when I bought it. Sold the POS at a A $600.00 loss. Replaced with a Fabarm 14, a true quality shotgun that will not let me down.

Enjoy the $$ TI, last $ you will ever get from me.

Sorry to hear that, hope your dealings with TI are better than mine.
