Caramel-- i notice your wood in the closeups has a deeper grain and a heartier stain applied to it-- did you have this done or did it come this way?
Well, the trigger in "regular" mode on the SAKO isn't quite as clean as the Steyr, but, the SAKO also has the singe set, which is beautiful. The weight difference is quite dramatic. And the SAKO is a noticeably larger firearm At the range, the recoil is too close to call- the SAKO being a magnum (7mm) with the weight, and the SM at 30.06 as a light weight. Both guns recoil in such a fashion that i find it very easy to keep my FOV on target at long ranges-- much easier than my other rifles.How do you like it compared to the Sako? Pretty similar? Anything clearly superior in one or the other?
Personally, I like the lighter wood on kiki231's Luxus much more. Nice rig you got there. Now how on earth are going to hide that from the wife?![]()
