If someone wants to start a "new" .22lr shortage thread feel free.....

Le Baron markham had two 1000-round bricks of m22 in stock for $62.45 each. with their 10% member discount it came to $56.20. its a pretty good deal IMO. i bought their last two.

having lots of trouble finding a CT near the toronto area that sells aguila though.

^so YOU'RE the guy. :) Kidding.. I saw that there recently, and unlike every other ammo there...they wouldn't split the bricks. Since I didn't know how well my guns would/wouldn't shoot it...I didn't want to commit to that much. Want to sell a box? :)

Cabela's in Edmonton Windermere has a ton of CCI Shorts on the shelf that nobody wants. I could shoot them out of my Mossberg 352KB for a laugh I guess.

My "local" (45 minutes away) Cabela's had "CB Shorts" when I was there on Father's Day, but knowing these are the slow-pokes...I only picked-up 3 x 100. Not that they would have sold me more.

Last batch of 555 I picked up wont cycle my semiautos. Tried it in my mp,buckmark, kadet, win 77&490,10/22,marlin 89c ....definitely not a gun problem....guess ive got 8 bricks of bolt action rounds.

Which CT near Toronto sells ammo? I'm up in the Newmarket area now and then.

newmarket CT sells ammo (the one on yonge street). richmond hill (bayview & hwy 7) does. stouffville does. woodbridge does. keswick does.
i dont think any CT within the 416 area does though.

Also, don't even think about making a loud noise near the coop, or they'll all huddle in a ball and suffocate and overheat.

So you have to protect them from sounds too.

Our chickens don't do that. We have about two hundred and they go out during the day into their runs or the yard and go back at night. Not a lot seems to bother them. Table scraps and expired vegatables offset some of the feeding cost.

I don't know where chickens came into the discussion bit I felt I had to put my two cents in.

Some do.

Eglinton and Laird. Haven't been in a while but last time I was there they had ammo.

St. Claire and Kingston, across from RH King Academy

Rylander Blvd in the Port Union and Kingston area.

Not the 416, but Ajax and Whitby do too.

Winchester 222, 333, 555 and wildcat all available at markham lebarons this morning. I think they were 13.xx, 19.xx, 34.xx and 28.xx respectively. I didn't pick up any and the shelves were full!
