Anyone else pick up their Colt Canada stripped lower yet?

Picked mine up from Al Flaherty's in Toronto when I was picking up my Sig 516. I had heard the rumours of a few being released, and I was in the right place at the right time. They had just been told they were getting 10 lowers about 5 minutes before I came in. Hope you get yours soon, man.

Fair enough, although judging by some of the other posts throughout these boards, I can't always tell if people are joking or just being a-holes.

Don't worry, I wouldn't have wasted the data sending you those pics ;) Hopefully you can find yourself a CC lower soon.
 
I managed to score a second lower from a different shop in Toronto. They got 5 in last night and I grabbed the last one today. Another case of the right place at the right time. I don't want to post where I got it to save them the bombardment of phone calls asking for one.

@ Rebel Rouser, I am one of those who didn't clue in that it was a joke. My apologies if my responses crossed a line.
FWIW, I picked my lower and IUR today. The CC Lower is quite an upgrade from what I had on my IUR before ... an ATI Omni Hybrid polymer lower.
 
More lowers were released today, but you have to buy it in a combo with a IUR upper. These were released on the stipulation that they aren't to be parted out by retailers.

Anyone need a IUR upper?LOL

Add me to that list too. To me it just seemed like someone who was bitter that he missed out. That's the problem with the internet, if you want to make a joke or sarcastic remark for fun then you need to take steps to make it blatantly obvious because people reading those comments won't necessarily understand the writer's intent/tone.

More IUR's are being released? Makes me wonder how many units the original contract was for in order to have this many left over. I certainly never expected there to be any left by this point.

Agree with the first point.

As far as the IUR's go, I don't plan to grab one now for a month or so and it sounds like plenty will be available.

Yea that color is kind of ghey,..*cough*...I mean grey.

Looks a lot like my NEA lower color. Hmmm.......I wonder if they were both made by the same outfit?;)


My older Colt lower is the same grey. A colt process thing I guess, Rebel would be able to explain.
