Looking for Some Input

one thing tho. when i click into a product from the product list, then i click return to go back to previous page with all the products listed. it returns to the first page. this is very frustrating because i'd have to re-click to the page # i was previously on.
Also i cannot right click on a product and open in new tab to view it separately.

I just don't go there anymore.

For years and years Wolverine website was one of my regular stops to browse products. I can't browse anymore. I have to specifically click 1 then 2 then 3 and do that all over again.

I'd prefer to see the old format/template back, or at least an ability to browse products.

Thanks.

for example: it took me way to long to find 50BMG ammo on your site because your ammo subcategories have barely any calibre selection on the left hand side, causing me to start my surfing all over again from the beginning because the back button takes you back to the main page.

also IMO you have to change the screen colour to something not so bright. the white kills my eyes at night when i do most of my impulse buying.

today is the second time ive visited your web site since you have gotten the new system, because the points above drive me away.

i was hoping by now your site would be more like the old site...

work it out fast! im sure im not the only person that has stopped visiting the site.

When I browse different goods, like to open them in tabs to read and compare later. With the new site, I'm stuck in a single page view and can't open product links in new tabs. Please make the new site tab friendly, simple browsing and filters are better than wacky dynamic pages.

item pictures are good, item description is abysmal. to buy online we need information. if I have to go to another website for info, will I come back? classifications are good.

I do this all the time when browsing site with stuff I want to buy. It's useful when I want to look at different prices or just not to get distracted browsing. Your new site needs to let me open tabs again.

Same here, better description and specs ' like weight, barrel steel, materials etc ... I know it's asking a lot, but it's also what sells me on things I can't touch before buying.

You guys need to have an option to be able to see all AR-15 parts, instead of browsing through days worth of all rifle parts.
I know you have good AR parts I need buried somewhere, I just have a hell of a time finding them!

Make the menu / filter system like brownells. In my experience they have the best website for searching by whatever criteria you want. Rifle parts, then filter by rifle type or brand, etc. very very fast to find something specific say 'AR-15 butt stocks'. Any if you don't like the direction you end up, you can hit back to go to previous filters.

1. In the users account page there should not be multiple sub categories. There should be your orders (and shown status of order) and account profile information- that’s it. Date range searches and such seem like a waste of bandwidth to me..
2. When I search for 870 police and 870p the search engine brings up different guns - none of which show up together in one search
3. There is no information or pictures for most of the product listed

Hey Everyone,
I would like to say thank you so much for all the input and for being concise and very helpful. Please continue to post your suggestions as we are definitely making notes to be passed onto our website design company.

Grumpy, my God your new web-site sucks! That "search" function is a joke. Trying to navigate is like pulling teeth. Always sends you to an ambiguous results page that has nothing to do with what you're searching for.

And, my profile has not migrated to the new page. I ended up registering again. But my sales history is gone.

It needs a lot of work. Can you bring back the old site?

When I look at a multiple page category and am on page 3 (as an example) and view an item then hit back button I end up on page 1...not saving where I am....need to log in to start a session?

Also, probably heard it a million times but search function doesn't function. I was shopping for an AR15 last night, ran a search then opened 4 other windows to search other sites. Got all my results, made notes on those 4 and the search had sill not finished on your site. I had to leave the site and not bother.

Too bad, your web team over-promised or misrepresented their abilities...they simply weren't up to the task. I work with a lot of web guys and can't begin to tell you how many misrepresent their skills. Just 2 cents from an outsider looking in.

Grumpy, I'm far from a web expert, but I wonder if your new site is losing money for you guys. I've dropped (quite) a few thou buying from you guys, but now I never go to your site, its just too frustrating. Sorry. I'd like to give something constructive to improve on, but all I can say is that the old site was way more intuitive, easy and quick. I hope you get it sorted out soon.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Also, when you are browsing a category and use the next button to move to the next page, you start at the bottom. I would prefer to go to the top of the new page so I can continue from start to finish in order.

I tried to order some stuff yesterday and gave up. Your old site was so easy to use and worked well. This new site does not allow searches like the old site did. I'm sure you have what I was looking for unfortunately I couldn't find it. I suggest you do some searches and see if your stock comes up. Things I use to find don't anymore.

I was trying to find xcr parts. The only way i could do it was by typing xcr. Then i get all the guns as well, it takes an eternity to soft through everything. Breaking it up and organizing it better would be helpful.. This may have been mentioned already.

Is this site built with Wordpress? I've found that pairing apache with Nginx on the server has sped up Wordpress sites a lot. Also got SQL tweaked for performance made a huge difference on high traffic wordpress sites as well.

I honestly think your website design company owes you an entirely new site. I believe you posted one time how much this new website cost your business, and for that kind of money I think this web design company has completely failed you. Your website went from one I visited daily, to one I have completely given up on.

1. Navigation is tedious and frustrating.
2. Search function produces results which do not properly showcase your inventory or even lead you to the right products.
3. Website speed is slow, very very slow.
4. Browsing on mobile devices is borderline impossible.
