The steel Scout rifle mags are AICS pattern made by Accurate Mag so they should work. I don't think the polymers will fit because they have a ridge that goes around the outside that meets up with the bottom of the scout rifle's mag well, which is flush to the bottom of the stock.

However, not having an RPR available for inspection this is merely speculation on my part.
 
Don't know the price for shooting precision 243 but certainly 6.5/260 is more expensive than 308.

308 is plentiful with lots of options/stock, 6.5 is limited to mainly HDY.

If they are willing to rebarrel & blueprint the action to assure concentricity, the platform must worth it. Guess we'll see when they are here.
 
After checking lots of online prices and availability Both factory and reload supplies are cheaper and way more plentiful in 308 than 260/6.5 CM. Be nice if someone can chime in with 260/6.5 deals but given all the WTB in those calibers highly doubt it.

Factory 6.5CM is HDY only. EE has occasionally great deals on 308 FGMM, have yet to find any used deal on 260/6.5.

6.5CM seems to be cheaper to buy factory vs components.

^If the 30% more is referring to exch rate there is really bad news for most of your future purchases.
 
In the advertisement is says it uses a AR barrel nut and go no go gauges for swapping barrels.

Anyone know if the barrels are the same as an AR? Like a short barrel from an AR can be swapped on with no modifications other than no gas port?

Would depend on intended use, the ruger is a lot heavier. It could probably be made lighter by swapping parts but thgat takes the price a lot higher.

Tikka also has the option of a set trigger, even though it requires sending the rifle back to have it installed because stoeger is not bringing them in that way

Decide on the CTR but that matters not as both are not readily available. Hope to hunt deer with CTR, lighter weight is a big bonus. Already load 308 for TRG making 260Rem very attractive.

No interest in set triggers. Happy with my T3 hunter and TRG22 trigger. Still not sure why you have this infatuation with set trigger.

Don't think I could resist a 6.5 Creedmoor so likely end up with both.
