That bipod is lame. Use a front bag for bench.
Or change out the front guard and use a real bipod.
Use the mag as a monopod. Put your support hand under the pistol grip if you need to.
What if you're shooting in a place where that's not practical, coyote hunting etc?
And you can both mess up the rifle's balance and make the already small handguard extremely awkward to use when not shooting prone by taking up all the handguard space with a significantly larger, heavier bipod placed further to the front?
I've tried this and it's one of the more unstable, awkward holds I've come across. You're better off with traditional prone, holding the entire rifle off the ground.
There's a point to the bipod and I get what it is. My only concern is how much it intereferes with the extremely stable "Israeli hold" when in any position but prone, and if the tradeoff is worth it.
TVpresspass you aren't recommending that thing are you?
3 MOA gun
I got this with M193 NATO Ball, a stock trigger and an aimpoint. Maybe it's just you?
So the made a bipod for a useless 3 MOA gun that I can outshoot with my T97. WOW
are you Daniels_250's long lost looser brother ?
At its inception, the Tavor was not built to be a static ranged platform. It's built for FISH & CHIPS. But embracing civilian sales means seeing use well outside the original intention. Because we like to tinker and make stuff.
Ah, there we go. Here's how I've shot with a bipod in the past:

I lost pretty much all my grip space doing that! For a pretty minimal return.

I want to take baby out to the 500 yard gong. If I ever get my hands on one of these bipods I'll try a string with and without and see if there's any real difference in how I shoot.
