KIDD ruger 10/22 SR22 parts are in stock finally

Nice. What stock is that?

Boyd's Rimfire Hunter in Walnut... I have a 14 1/4" LOP, but I ordered it in 13 1/4" to keep it light and compact... I have no problem snugging in a shorter LOP with a scope... I might still bob a couple inches off the forend... I think it will look more balanced with the Kidd 16" .920" barrel.

Actually, now looking at the picture, I am going to take 2" off the forend.

i find it hard to believe that Dlask woudlnt help you on the phone when you called, unless of course you where a azz on the phone to them.
ive dealt with them on 4 different builds ive done and ive spend a lot of time with Joe on the phone and over email, by far one of the nicest most knowledgeable gunsmiths ive met.
bash Joe all you want but anyone who has had dealing with him knows the truth, Joe is a damn good gunsmith and makes a product that is 2nd to none - and he is CANADIAN to boot, which is just icing on the cake.

back to the original post, yes, ive dealt with Fabsport to get a lot of Kidd parts over the years, great to deal with.
i just wish they had reorders!
would be nice to be able to preorder stuff and just have it mailed out once it gets in.

has anyone ever seen a Kidd receiver being sold in Canada?
is Joe Brooks even carrying Kidd stuff anymore?

3000$ and makes it that much better?

Im into mine for a 1/4 that.... And mine goes bang bang every time.

A stock 10/22 goes bang bang every time too. It all about where you set your expectations. I have a pretty basic 10/22 with an ATI folding stock for plinking and a target 10/22 i put 2000 into...they are worlds apart.

Nice looking build there
in the pics the barrel shank is partially exposed
is the barrel not fully seated or do kidd have a longer shank

That is not the shank... since it is an aluminum barrel, it requires a stainless steel tenon and chamber, including a barrel to receiver face band, which is what you are seeing... the barrel is fully seated.

they seem to be on the ball. i even got a free upgrade.

I ordered 1 set of springs with rod, and one set of just springs..
the price difference is about double.

They sent me two sets of springs with rods :)

I'll be sure to order from them again :)

I have dealt with FabSports and Dlask... I'm pleased with both... i have a complete Dlask build and I can say the quality is there and any queries I had for Dlask were answered concisely in a reasonable time frame and free of bull-sh*t... I'm happy with Dlask and will continue to be a customer. And my 10/22 as far as I'm concerned is awesome and barely got to 1/3 of 3K .....

my SR22 is almost a $3,000 package now i think... including its case and extra mags

I'm calling BS on this $3000 cost, can you provide a parts list and price? Unless your including optics I would love to see how you get to 3k on a 10/22. And yes I do personally own all that and more ;) and am familiar in the prices....

I have bought from both Fabsports and Dlask and would still gladly spend money at Dlask, they do excellent custom work!

I know I got a mid 90s stainless 10/22 I paid 250$ for it, Dlask 8.5" Barrel, Internal Mods ( Extractor, Auto Bolt, Mag release, I'm getting a VQ hammer ), I just bought a fake can, handful of mags, Scope, a full SR22 kit ( with MOE grip and CTR stock, with Dlask Rails ) and I dont think I broke 900$

Glad I seen this post. Just placed my order for the black scalloped bolt.

For the member who questioned how u could have $3000 into a build... It's very true! This bolt will now put me at or just over the 3k mark.

I'd like to see these $3k builds...

Me too! I've got a 10/22 built with all new parts, Dlask receiver, all Kidd internals, Kidd 20" stainless match barrel and a custom maple/walnut benchrest stock from Don Stith. Weaver T36 scope mounted in Burris Zee rings. No where close to 3 grand. And before LA whines about weight, yes it is heavy but I doubt you know the reason why.

I want to see also, unless some very high end optics on top, I have a couple full aftermarket builds with top of the line parts and didn't hit 3k either.

Although the one guy did say case, mags etc.
