OK, I guess I will let you guys pick apart the details on mine! Not perfect yet, but getting close enough that I'm not embarrassed to show them. All Colt, except for the barrel on the Mod1 which is a DD.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for a set of KAC taupe sights for the Mod1 I would really appreciate it! Also looking for a Comp M2 and Wilcox mount for the Mod0.

Best bet for the taupe KAC would be to email Mark at OST I guess. He's the one that told me he could get me the part for the T1 mount... I wouldn't trust my life on that mount as it is now so it's on to look pretty right now. Got the 300m micro yday :) so my Mod1 that thinks it's a Mod0 is all dressed up in KAC and looks like this right now:

I won't be saying I'm done with it cause I must have said that 15 times before...

Very Close to this ...

Due to the short 10.5 inch barrel, the CQBR receiver remains relatively cool even when firing at a faster rate of fire. The complete Colt manufactured Mk18 Mod O carbine. A standard government issue “Property of U.S. Govt M4A1” lower receiver with the six position LMT stock assembly mounted with the CQBR (Close Quarter Battle Receiver) consisting of the Lewis Machine and Tool back-up sight and SOPMOD stock with. Knight’s Armament RAS with rail protectors, vertical pistol grip and compensator (for use with KAC quick detach suppressor). Owing to the short barrel, a significant amount of powder burns after it leaves the barrel and with this decrease in temperature, and additional modifications, the CQBR carbine will have an extended barrel life over the standard M4A1 carbine 14.5 inch barrel.

thanks guys, what about the UK/Canadian M4 RAS lower are these unobtainium too?

Here's what the UK RAS lower and CQD end plates look like. I built a few Mk18 clones(LMT, Stag and finally a Colt) and keep selling them when I get bored of them. I'm just going to stick to the Diemaco stuff.

A lot of wicked looking guns in here.

Here's my entry level work in progress, not really a clone just a run of the mill CQB set up.

NEA15 with 10.5" barrel. (Hope to upgrade to a colt Canada 11.7" IRU)
Elcan Spectre DR scope.
Magpul Carbine stock. (Upgrading to a Magpul STR or an LMT)
Magpul Moe + pistol grip
Magpul RVG vertical grip
Magpul RSA and ASAP.
Magpul MS3 sling
Surefire taclight.
Dlask XB1 (upgrading to a Noveske KX3 or 5)
Magpul PMags (Tried Hera mags but they're too tight in NEAs)

Will be adding Magpul BUS or Diamondhead BUS.
