how much is a 2 year old 100 rounds fired ruger 1911 worth?

That's ok, I have been here for 4 years, I have 3000 posts and a 100% positive feedback. Maybe if you won't trust me, maybe you should just buy in the stores then.

Kryogen just because you talk a lot on here dos not mean you are or are not a good guy to deal with. Only your feedback tells a person that.

When people only have a very little bit of feedback I go look at comments like this one and it does not take a person long to form an opinion of who they are dealing with.

If you want to be successful on here relax, take a deep breath and be calm. Remember everyone has a right to there opinion. Your gun is prised OK so either people don't want it or they do not want to deal with you.

Take care.

It also helps to watch the EE for similar items. A Ruger very similar to yours (with a trader rating similar to yours) went up today for $100 less than you are asking. If someone was in the market for a pistol like yours I don't think yours would go first. Seems simple to me.

How many times have we seen the Firm price with multiple bumps and MANY subsequent prices drop. The tire kickers are the sellers with high ballers dreams. Luv the NO COMPROMISE crowd.

EMT is for convenience. The same reason we're online. As for not knowing name/address everyone of my EMT sales had both buyer/seller name/address on the shipping label.
Had backed out of a "I'll take it pymt by EMT" sale cause seller did not accept EMT but went ahead when seller sweeten up with half shipping.
EMT, online is here to stay.

Kinda scary when folks can't post pictures. Tells you how many gun owners are the older, cash crowd.
Many times on the EE other things will put me off a deal other than price. Things like Trader rating, how the ad is structured (apparent attitude of the seller) ect. can make or break the deal as well.

Example: PRICE FIRM, TIRE KICKERS AND LOW BALLERS WILL BE OPENLY MOCKED. ALL SALES FINAL, EMT ONLY.

Most folks won't take offence with the above, but for me my back is up already. There's no such thing as PRICE FIRM or I don't want to deal, the prices are asking prices. The real question is the asking price fair? To openly mock (whether this is in jest or not) doesn't attract me to even open the line of conversation for fear of being labelled a "low baller". "All SALES FINAL" leads me to believe the individual has had issues in the past with unsatisfied fellow gunnutters who have purchased misrepresented items.
"EMT ONLY" tells me the individual doesn't want me (the potential buyer) to know his name, address, etcetera. Now why would that be? Nah. NO SALE! (too risky/sketchy)

Just an example of a great selling add, if i may impose on you....

I write them like the ones i will buy from... JP.

I'll bump this reply, as I was thinking the same. OPs text seems a bit confrontational, or at least standoffish. The above is far more brief than I myself can manage to be. It's clear, concise, and says what needs saying.

Next to very rarely bought a new one, lots from the EE.
I wasn't critisizing your low trader rating, but pointing out that if it bothers me, it must bother other people.

+1 for this

Your ad has too much text, too much détails. People don't care what you want to fund (Unless you're into trades) or whatever issues you may have; worst case scenario you're only giving buyers haggling leverage (Ex: "I have Financial issues" is a big no no)... Just mention the condition, round count, caliber, pistol model/brand, few pictures. Keep it short and simple.

I would not recommend dealing the way you do "Half the money, transfer and the rest after, shipping"; It's been discussed and beat to death here: Best way to do it is money up front, transfer, shipping.

BTW, I think your price is fair.

I simply want to sell my pistols for a fair price, for me, and for the buyer. Most were bought new as collection items, I just feel like I could spend that money elsewhere. I don't shoot those.
The only pistol I shoot is my glock 17 anyway.
