Have you always wanted an MP5K-ish gun?- Introducing the Lusa 9mm Restricted!

I love the idea of these things, but they look so goofy with that pencil thin barrel. I feel as though they'd look 100x better with some type of fake suppressor shroud.
Still kicking myself for missing out though

Im hoping yours is a simple fix, Ill get back to you as soon as I have some kind of path forward.

Anyone else having trouble like this with their Lusa?

I've tried 115 and 124 gr ammo, ran it with a light coat of gun oil, then gun grease and even dry. I ran it with my home made mp5 stock and then in its original config with no stock. I've also used all of my 3 mags and it's the same with all of them.

Same issues no matter what I do.

Usually it just fails to extract or eject but the odd time it doesn't feed and a few times failed to fire on a full chamber with no blockages.

It jams 2-3 times on a 5 round mag.

On a positive note, it's cheap to run as it takes a long time to empty a mag :)

Here's one of several quick vids taken yesterday.

Any ideas?

Yikes! Well, at least i'm not the only one with problems!

Still waiting to receive my new magazine catch from IRG - Hope they didn't forget about me!

Despite that issue, I love this little brute. Even though I currently have to manually hold open the bolt, push a mag in then release the bolt to get it to feed - It's a really fun pinker. Really hope to get a stock on it in the future!

just to let all of you know ,I have had same issue with fte and stovepiping.
I was out at range with my 3 nags and had the very same issues.look fwd to steve
finding out what is causing this

OK so I just got off the phone with Lusa. Apparently these were assembled by Nightscout and I was told they should stand behind them so Im waiting for a callback from Nightscout. Also Lusa just told me that they are out of complete mags GRRRRRRR but have thousands of mag bodies but no followers. We may need to 3-D print them. Anyone know where we can find a company in Canada to do this?

Steve

He could also design a version that locks open the bolt when empty. This is used in the Hungarian SMG, HOWEVER the followers don't last that long so extras are needed. He could also make baseplates that join two mags, either end to end or side by side.

Just got some pics from Recce on the bolt hold back and bolt face. Recce will comment on the pics. Probably most of you noticed the notch for the bolt hold back so here's a closeup. Those with problems with jams etc may be helped by Recce's explanation on the bolt face.
