I like the look of those Baby Mausers! I've always been a big fan of milsurps, but I'm finding that the old originals are too nice/rare to shoot very often.
I'm happy that GSG (& Norinco) has seen fit to make replicas of some of these classics now in (cheap and plentiful) .22. I've got lots of CF rifles, each for their intended purpose, so I'm fine with plinking with these look-alike guns. No way could I afford the origals in today's market. Plus, all these .22 RFs are ...
NON-Restricted! 'Bonus'.
BTW-- I'm laying odds that the next one Blue Line brings in will be the GSG MP 40 in .22. I know it looks terrible with that huge faux 'suppressor' on the muzzle,
but I'm told that it's threaded and will screw off easily...
& i'm not getting my hopes up that GSG will be offerring the StG 44/22 in any other caliber, since they only make guns in .22 chamberings. Also not expecting one to come from any other arsenals.
