there is no dangerous good fees for 3 lbs of powder. I shipped a 100 lbs of ammo with Canpar and there's no hazmat fee.Dangerous Goods Fees from Carrier aka not being shipped via Canada Post
Really?Powder kegs are different from loaded ammo. If a single cartridge detonates for whatever reason, it's not going to cause much destruction. If 1lb of powder goes off in the presence of 2 other pounds of powder...

Hey everyone,
Just ran the quote, it's due to the distance. Anything that we ship with a similar weight and size from Vancouver - Newfoundland with Canpar ground will cost about $55 where if we could have used Canada Post it would closer to $28. Please also remember that powder must be shipped by ground.
We would love to have a more cost effective way to ship powder or any controlled goods but at the moment there just isn't a better option.
If you have any questions or ever think a quote is wrong feel free to email me!
All the best,
Nick
SFRC shipped my varget via UPS, it was 22$ for 4 lbs.
And where is Ontario compare to NL or BC?
