Im going to take the receipt that I got from Walmart saying I paid 58.58 for 2 bricks at 25.47 each and see if I can price match because I keep buying walmart stock. I need more supply.

That's crazy 54.99. My walmart has Winchester dyna point 500 round bulk packs for )26.99

The walmarts around here never have stock.
One of the 2 Canadian tires doesn't sell rifles but does sell ammo and their stock is usually good for all except the 555. Today I walk in and see two boxes on the shelf for $32 a piece. Even at that price I had to bring them home.
That store is becoming my go to place now as no one seems to realize they sell ammo.
The other store also sells firearms and their shelves are usually bare.

I can't speak too much for .22 but my Walmart had a crazy clearance on ammo 2 weeks ago and a friends brother bought $3000 worth of ammo for $800. My friend bought 250 rnds. of Remington steel shells for duck for $50 and I got core-loct .303brit. for $10 a box. No idea why they did it but the sale started on Friday night and was over on Saturday morning.

My local wal Mart has 555 for $25 and 333 for $15 all before tax. Best part is my wife works at wal mart so I get additional 10% off. Golden bullets $32.99. Lots on the shelf. If u have a family member who works there you can use their discount card.

Was at a Wal-Mart early on a Sunday morning saw they had lots of cheap .22 when I asked for some they said no one is here on Sunday mornings to open the cabinet. I was bummed because I can never get to that Wal-Mart very often

I too am finding .22 showing up more and more places, it's just too damn bad the prices are staying so high. I have about 5k rounds now which I am okay with. The seasons almost over so I'll see what happens to the prices over winter, but I'll probably still buy the odd brick here and there. Just to ensure I won't be caught with my pants down as I did when this came about. And hopefully prices can return to some what normal by the time them gophers start popping up again.

If CT was "greedy" as a retailer, they would sell it to the first person who asked for it... as a retailer it is their job to sell merchandise as quickly as possible and at a profit... it sounds to me that they established the rule to protect their customers as a whole from greedy consumers...

That's a good one the greedy retailer, it's simple if you don't like the price don't buy, supply and demand limited supply the more the price, simple for the simpleton

if you guys find the Winchester wildcat at Canadian tire, buy it by the brick, because the upc codes are the same as the individual boxes so I got over 1000 rounds of wildcat for like $11

That's funny to hear that, a friend of mine purchased a couple bricks every time he went to SAIL Burlington for the reasonable price of $1.79 each. This is going back a couple years ago after he and I got our PAL's.

I haven't seen Wildcat bricks since, not that I particularly care for the stuff mind you. It's been great seeing CCI SV and Minimags as well as Blazer on the shelves again.

I don't think I've been in a shop yet that hasn't had.22 in stock every Canadain tire and Walmart I've been in carry,s it.

Seems to come and go in waves but really I have never had a huge problem getting it.

I think the prepper ding bats all have their 50 000 rounds now so maybe it will be easier to find and cheaper soon.

Sorta like .223... Comes in waves but is more of plentiful now now that the conspiracy nuts have they're 50,000 rounds bought up.
