Show us your Sig Sauers

Here's my Elite Dark. Would love a 220 in stainless and rosewood grips. :)

This photo is making my wallet cringe, I don't have a sig yet but when I do I want it to be this!

Hi all, brand new to Sigs here. Nice photos in this thread! I didn't know much Sigs as I've mostly had 1911s. I had a Beretta once, but didn't like the trigger all that much compared to what I was used to and decided I wouldn't like DA/SA set ups.

I stumbled on my first Sig a few months ago when I went to visit a buddy at Reliable Gun and he showed me this previously enjoyed pistol that was in excellent shape. I played with it a bit, thinking I probably wouldn't like it because of the DA/SA setup, but I was surprised. The trigger pull wasn't all that bad in DA and was better than expected in SA. The reset was a lot shorter than what I'd experienced with my Beretta, still not as short as my 1911s, but not too bad at all. 9mm was cheaper than .45acp so I figured why the hell not, it had a low round count, it had no major blemishes, it came with 8 magazines and the price wasn't horrible. I've been to the range with it twice now and it grouped rather nicely with Blazer and I was just plinking away, not even seriously concentrating. It reminded me of when I bought my Remington R1E, which practically shoots itself. Easy to shoot, groups well, less kick than a 1911, and just as enjoyable.

It's a big ass pistol though compared my 1911s, but I could get used to it. Anyway, on to some Sig ####:

Some of the magazines were still brand new and never used. The night sights were surprisingly bright, if you look closely, you can actually see a slight reflection off the top of the slide from the front sight. I think I'm going to like this gun a lot.

Mister Donut, nice TacOps.
Since you're a 1911 guy, if you get the chance try out the 220.
It's a single stack .45 and not really much wider than the 1911, grip wise that is, and it fits in the same holster as your 226.

For comparison, Sig 1911, Sig 220, Dan Wesson Valor 1911.

Sig Elites....mmmmmmmm....

An old girl, P220 9mm, W. German circa 1978. Amazingly good shooter

P220 Equinox, with aluminum grips. This is my favorite Sig to shoot of them all, it just works for me. I think it has to do with that big glowing front sight and my old eyes....

F*** you man! .....lol.. drool.

^^^ Great shot! Now all the pics of guns in perfect shape are certainly very nice, but there's something cool about those of guns that have some miles on 'em, and the scars to prove it.

.40 S&W, with SigLite night sights. 2011 manufacture, bought it on EE (less than 1K rounds), haven't yet shot it (have six mags and over 1K rounds.......ready to go).

BF870,
Would love a range report when you can, on the gun esp. with the reflex sight mounted. I've only handled a Glock MOS model but never actually shot one. Was wondering how the height of your sight would affect actual aiming and head position. I think it would be excellent for Steel Challenge type shooting.
