Not the best pic, but here's mine.

Is it normal for Sig to forget marking the slide? Every picture i see online has markings on the slide, some say Sig Sauer and some say Sig Sauer P226 or P229. My slide has nothing on it.

Where did you score that beauty? Have yet to see one in the flesh. All the Sig slides I've seen are stamped, yours might be a one-off. I know a while back a few MK25's were shipped without the anchor, strictly aesthetic; they were still genuine Sig slides. Does yours have the legion logo stamped on the top by the rear sight?

I purchased from IRunGuns. The slide does have the legion logo on the top. Guess they just forgot to mark the slide.

Looks like a Legion to me. I do see some pics without any stampings on the slide.

That picture seems to maybe have something written there, the pic ain't that clear. I spoke with irunguns and he told me that every single p226 legion that he has, have the markings, he said he's never heard of them not having sig sauer on the slides. Here's another picture of just the slide. Sorry for the bad quality.

That's interesting, are they offering an exchange? I kind of like the slide without the Sig markings, to be honest, especially with the legion series. You still have the legion stamp on the top and legion logo on the grips. Offers a bit of uniformity to the overall look as there aren't any other overt Sig markings on the firearm

I haven't heard back yet, i sent him some pics. It's definitely smooth and clean looking without the markings.

that's amazing! I know this is a rare gun - I've been considering it for some time. Love the grips too! I have the Hogue black pearl ones and I used to have it on a stainless ruger sr1911, so yeah, you have excellent taste. good job
