I scoped my K31 last weekend. My budget version of Zfk 55... Finally put everything together. Been piecing a lot of the part from EE. Installed a muzzle brake which really reduce the recoil, Swiss product mount, and an inexpensive bushnell banner. Zeroed it at what could be 100 yards. Quiet pleased with the result. so far best grouping is about 2", I don't think it's the rifle fault. The zero could be tweaked some more and re proved at different range to see if it true and actually hold zero.

One complaint, ok maybe two. The mount made the scope really high and offset to the right. I can hardly maintain a chin weld on it. the biggest gripe is all the mod made the rifle super heavy. I def wouldn't want to lug this around for hunting, but it would be my go to long range rifle, while I have the SKS to spray bullets at zombies. I supposed I could get stronger... lol. Have a lot of respect for the militia who shoulder this while mountaineering on the Alps. It wasn't a light rifle to begin with, and add those stuffs, man does it made your arm tired if you try to shoot it standing up. Bipod is on order, and I'm going to get one of those cheek riser from cabela's.

This is the best sport I've ever do so far. Next goal probably winter biathlon... lol

Vary the angle of your shoulder to the rifle and the rifle's height to your elbows to find your sweet spot.
I assume you are not shooting prone but from a bench?

Aluminum Swiss Products Clamp-on mount.

Very nice... Hey everyone, the op has scoped his k31 already but for those who are considering it, try the k31 scope mount from Addley Precission. They are located in Midland Ontario. They make mounts for Enfields and SKS also. To the OP try a Bradley Cheek rest. It is a solid rest with no drilling involved. They don't deliver to Canada unless you call the owner (Bradley) on their toll free number. Very easy people to deal with. The two companies that I mentioned are current the best on the market (IMO) so check them out.

I don't see a K31 mount listed on Addleys page.

'O Swederland, my Swederland......

It's easy to confuse the two countries, I suppose. One is smaller than Nova Scotia, lies in the middle of Western Europe and is the home of clocks and watches and trains that always run precisely on time, buys other peoples' warplanes and has a history of neutrality.

The other is a huge and almost uninhabited country that occupies most of Scandinavia, has a long and complex eastern coastline on the Baltic Sea, makes furniture, guns systems, its own warplanes and moderately-price furniture and has a history of neutrality.

Ahah! I think I've hit on the ONE thing that they have in common....

The owner of Addley is Gerry. Great guy. Was at his factory last week and he has a new batch of k31 mounts made up. His specs are tight, it a picatini and everything is anodized black... very professional looking product. Give him a call or email him. Good luck

We need to see it. If it's anything like the other mounts then we are going to need cheeks like a chipmunk or a ten-centimeter high cheek-riser. If it is an in-line type, how do you reload using the usual charger?
