I scoped my K31 last weekend. My budget version of Zfk 55...
Finally put everything together. Been piecing a lot of the part from EE. Installed a muzzle brake which really reduce the recoil, Swiss product mount, and an inexpensive bushnell banner. Zeroed it at what could be 100 yards. Quiet pleased with the result. so far best grouping is about 2", I don't think it's the rifle fault. The zero could be tweaked some more and re proved at different range to see if it true and actually hold zero.
One complaint, ok maybe two. The mount made the scope really high and offset to the right. I can hardly maintain a chin weld on it. the biggest gripe is all the mod made the rifle super heavy. I def wouldn't want to lug this around for hunting, but it would be my go to long range rifle, while I have the SKS to spray bullets at zombies. I supposed I could get stronger... lol. Have a lot of respect for the militia who shoulder this while mountaineering on the Alps. It wasn't a light rifle to begin with, and add those stuffs, man does it made your arm tired if you try to shoot it standing up. Bipod is on order, and I'm going to get one of those cheek riser from cabela's.
This is the best sport I've ever do so far. Next goal probably winter biathlon... lol
