For DD rails to fit, could the DD rail be modified to fit the MV? Or does it simply not work due to barrel nut threads etc? Please give more insight on this.

Anything can be made to fit with extensive modification, we are just not offering furniture that requires a bunch of modification.
In the case of DD the bolt on manner that they employ would require all the mounting bolts to have the bolt heads machined down in diameter, to the point of an almost total loss of the fasteners head, and the strength of the fastener would be deeply compromised.

Barrel nut threads are standard, the barrel extension is not.
 
So...once you guys are ready to take pre-orders. I can put my deposit down first to secure my spot and then customize options later, correct?

It is not a "pre-order" you order what you want from the options listed and that is what we base our outside parts order on and then produce.
We ask that everyone look over the base model AND the offered options prior to ordering and if they have questions ask before placing the order.
It makes life much easier that way.
 
So there's no way to secure your spot in ordering? Like I'm sure te going to be a feeding frenzy when you guys hear from the Gestappo about the FRT. it will just suck rushing to try and order one and not getting exactly what you wanted because you were worried about missing out.

I expect we will be busy, but everyone has to understand that we order all the furniture and barrels from other companies. To have to change a bunch of orders really puts a screw into things, so to have the orders of what we are actually going to put together correct the 1st time saves all parties time and frustration.
Now with that being said, we have NO control over our suppliers as to when they produce or ship the parts we order, so it is possible that orders can be shipped out of order sequence due to parts not being in for 1 gun but everything being in for another.
We try to work with first come first serve basis but it does not always work. rather than holding up assembly we move onto the next assembly that has 100% of the parts on hand.

My suggestion is to try and figure out what you want for furniture, compare it to what we have to offer and then place the order as soon as you can.
The furniture is the biggest holdup in most cases.
 
Looks like I will probably miss the first order then, by the time I try to figure out all the parts I want I'm sure it will be gone lol
 
Is it to much or to early to ask how much extra a 18 1/2 CFB will cost? And what would be the weight diff between that and a 18 1/2 medium contour barrel? Thanks

I don't know why. Really the only big decisions are what furniture you want and where a standard barrel or a CFW barrel. The only other options will be colors and whether it is ambi or not.
 
So then I'm assuming the furniture options for the MV are relatively the same as what there was for the MH?

At this point, yes. We will be looking at other options once we know we are not wasting our time. Once we hear back from the SFSS and know what the election has saddled us with we will then start ordering and checking fitment on more fore ends. I doubt there will be much more added for butt stocks.
