Imperial High brass used to be the best you could get years ago..how is the new stuff?
I had the opposite happen to me opened my pack of rifled slugs I bought from CT and it was #8 target inside. I have a feeling that someone who works there swapped them out & maybe that was the plan with yours but you bought the box before they where finished.
Why do people always seem to think you can't shoot a rifled slug through a full choke? That's why it's rifled so that they can compress down and fit through the choke. Yes the cylinder or improved cylinder is recommended because they usually offer better accuracy and as far as screw in chokes go I can see why a manufacturer would suggest the use of the more.open choices much like saying don't shoot.steel through a full choke .
