In the video they were using a Doppler radar. It's ballistic related imo.

I dont think so.
Looks like the nose of the bullet and not the base. Jacket is thinning instead of increasing in thickness as it typically would at the base of the bullet. That cavity is just there to recieve the polymer tip.

Looks like a pretty big hole for the tip! Also it's almost to the base of the ogive... There has to be some clue in the video. Like the new GT40 video of Ford scaring the black stallion (Ferrari).
Guess we'll see in a few days.
I think, as mentioned, it's silly for companies to hype products if they announcing something big. I'm hoping they found something in bullet design that has shown with relative ease (and cost) they can dramatically improve BC's of all bullets.
