Frog Lube?

Hello from Toronto.

I'm hoping you group of gunnutz can give me some advise on Frog Lube.
What do you think about this product?
Good point / bad points?

FrogLube Solvent
FrogLube Super Degreaser
FrogLube CLP Liquid or paste

Is there a better product

I'm just waiting on the store transfer of my Diemaco SA20 and I seen the YouTube spots on this product.
I like the idea of heating / coating the firearm before using it.

I would like clean the AR15 before I take it to Target Sport range to zero it.

So any advice or suggestion are most welcome!

In all honesty, you'd be hard pressed to find something that does a worse job.

My suggestions:

Cleaner - Brakeleen. (doesn't do copper, make sure you oil after)
Lube - Synthetic ATF.

I like the smell of the paste, that's about all I like. Still doesn't smell as good as G96 though.....mmmmm....G96....

I've been using Frog Lube for years and never had a single problem. You just have to know how to use it properly. You can see a comprehensive review tests below against all the major brands and Frog Lube out performed all of them.

Breakfree CLP has worked well for me also.

I use the paste on all my guns (properly). I like it better than goopy oils or grease. edit: check the link posted above.

I put 700 ish rounds through my m&p 40 one weekend without problem, and afterward, the gun basically cleaned up with a dry microfiber towel.
Froglube works for me. I know that it's basically a plant wax. The corrosion and lubricity tests have shown that it's not snake oil.

I am going to use froglube on my ar. I uses it for the first time on my SKS, and it made cleanup much easier. Fouling on piston rubbed off without using any solvent, same goes for bolt carrier and bolt. And I can use ballistol with it as it is also organic.

I've been using frog lube for years without issue, (the Paste) but I don't like my guns too oily anyway, tho different firearms may require different types lubricant and cleaning methods, can't say froglube is the best. But it works.

I used it until I ran out. Now I use M-pro7 oil and solvent and love it. Frog lube worked good for me as it doesn't get too cold here, but to properly apply it is time consuming for every gun if you have more than 4. M-pro7 is just like any gun oil but it's non toxic.

Same here, I used FL for over 2 years, I've since switched to Ballistol.
