MC 1952 Kollmorgen scope is the rarest of all of the M1 Garand variants .
Glass is bright and clear. Reticle is fine crosshairs.
Paint finish is excellent with no chips or discernible wear.

Original issue canvas carry case (pictured)
The only imperfections that I can find are: 1. A very shallow surface crease on right bak half of tube approx.1/16 to 1/8” in length appears to be in the paint, not affecting any operation or function. Paint is unbroken broken, 2. Rear lock lever stop screw is missing.(pictured)
Originally these units were issued with out serial numbers during ref-fit. However, this unit is unusual in as much that it bears a serial number 36##### on the right side of the mount bar, many do not. Of all the MC 1952 units have only seen over 25 years I have only seen two others that were serialized, one was 15+ years ago at the Tulsa Gun Show belonging to a retired Marine Msgt. sniper that was attached to the 3rd Bat, 6th Marine Regiment who served in Korea, Dominican Republic and Viet Nam. While he was attached to the 3rd Bat, 6th Marine Regiment and was issued an MC1952 when deployed late April,1965 in coordination with the 82nd Airborne, to the put down an attempted Communist overthrow of the Dominican Republic government. He told me that the serializing was at unit armorer level.
All pictures are accurate and true as to its condition. This scope unit has been in my collection for many years. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my abilities.
