Here are a couple targets from one of my SKS at 75 yards with Norinco silver box ammo. I was shooting from a bench with the bipod.

4 shot group while adjusting the scope. First shot was the top last was the bottom hole.

3 shot group after scope dialed in.

I only had one 20 round box and it took a few rounds to even get it on target at first. Next time out I'll see how it does at 100 yards with 5 round groups and post the results.

Great! One of these days, I'm going to get it together enough to take good pictures and then post my best 100M five shot group using my best SKS
and expensive ammo.

I've heard of 1inch groups at 100metres from an SKS, you can also glass bed the receiver as well. also depends on what ammo you use

Get the bi-pod off the barrel and you should see the group tighten up a little. Also, I have found that drilling the bottom the receiver at the back and putting a 10/32 bolt from the trigger guard up through the stock and tightening it down works wonders on group size.

To understand why, grab the rifle by the butt stock and push up on the trigger guard, you can see the whole receiver move in the stock. This happens every time you squeeze the trigger. This means that the receiver is moving in the stock for every shot. After to bolt tie down method, the receiver does not move so it does not shift it's point of impact each shot.

The secret to accuracy is consistency. the more things stay the same with each shot, the better the accuracy.

Key word here, I've heard of Bigfoot getting a royal flush too. But alas, has anyone ever actually seen one?

Yeah thats guy is also running a SKS with a custom barrel made from a 1919 and no gas system. Its a straight pull action, custom stock, bedding and hand loading and barely getting 1"
