That's what I try to tell people, but they just don't listen.LOL The receiver scope mount is the only way to go if you want optics. The Chinese SKS, from my experience, is far more accurate than the Russians, Still have to try the Yugo.A one inch or less group! Who says the SKS isn't an accurate rifle?![]()

Says only people that shoot 3 shot groups @75Y. Shoot 100Y and 5 shot and see it open to 2".
I only had one 20 round box and it took a few rounds to even get it on target at first. Next time out I'll see how it does at 100 yards with 5 round groups and post the results.
The fiken stupid muzzle break was a bad idea, only lasted about 6 or 7 shots and it was off. LOL I had it tightened up, with blue lok tite and it didn't help.
If it clamps on or twist on its junk. Learned that back in 2004..
Don't AK breaks twist on? What is the preferred method of attaching a break? Pinning?
That target did. 3 shots at 75 isn't much to write home about. Plenty accurate for what it is though, but in grand scheme of things, hardly.A one inch or less group! Who says the SKS isn't an accurate rifle?![]()

Key word here, I've heard of Bigfoot getting a royal flush too. But alas, has anyone ever actually seen one?I've heard of 1inch groups at 100metres from an SKS, you can also glass bed the receiver as well. also depends on what ammo you use

Get the bi-pod off the barrel and you should see the group tighten up a little. Also, I have found that drilling the bottom the receiver at the back and putting a 10/32 bolt from the trigger guard up through the stock and tightening it down works wonders on group size.
