So who bought the SFP9?

Are you guys using a proper 2.8mm pin punch to remove the back/side straps?

These things appear to be unicorns to find...and the closest equivalent 7/64 also seems to be hard to find.

I'm just scared if I use something other than those, I might bust the pin - and that may be tough to find a replacement...

I borrowed the punch in the M&P9 grip :)

I just got mine, it doesn't work with bladetech and safariland for P30. Guess I need to buy new ones! The SFP9 is a bit thicker just behind the dust cover, it cannot squeeze into a P30 holser.

I see. From the list on HKPro it seems to be mostly the hybrid kydex leather holsters like crossbreeds work ok. Or so I have been told, but seeing that there are so many vp9 holsters out there I see no reason for using P30 holsters.

On an unrelated note is anyone else that ordered from sfrc still waiting on theirs? I ordered mine minutes after it went live on the site but am still waiting for it come in.

Just watched a review by Larry Vickers and he says its the best striker fired pistol in the market today. His review compared it to the Glock 17 and PPQ. Military Arms channel is also giving this pistol big props in his review. Sounds like a winner, and a good price, not much more then a glock.

Noone bought it......the walther ppx range kit is 500$.......less than half the price for the same piece of garbage

The PPX is an enormous brick of a gun and is hammer-fired. It's not even close to the same. Are you thinking of the PPQ, which is a similar handgun in function and price?

Just bought one today and Reliable in Vancouver. They had 6 left after I bought mine :) Looks and feels like an amazing pistol. Can't wait to bring it home.

Some more info you all you SFP9 owners:
Did some measuring of the side panels. There are small, medium and large panels included with pistol.
The measurement across thickest portion of grips as follows:
Small = 1.260
Medium = 1.315
Large = 1.435

Also something else to pass on. The grip panels fit very precisely into frame. You will notice that there are "grooves" in the panels and raised "guides" in frame. These are not simple slots and keys. If you look close they are male and female dovetails and must be started carefully while sliding onto the frame of pistol.
Its very impressive how good of a fit these parts are considering they are molded.

Another couple of items.
HK does not recommend dry firing of pistol or cleaning pistol in ultrasonic cleaning tank.

Hope this info is of use to new owners of the HK SFP9.
