How much should these cost per 1000?
I think I just bought my last ones there.
For handgun and plinking ammo, I just buy the cheap Dominion Arms primers for $28/1K. They used to be $25./1K. Still better than $45/1K for CCI.
i bought 8000 of the dominion small pistol primers. i used 2000 of them and get a lot of light strikes (average one in each mag). the problematic primers were so hard that the striker barely made a dent in it so there is some inconsistency with the metal use to manufacture these primers. for about $5 more i can get S&B which ive had no issues with so far (went through 2000 as well) and for under $40 i can have cci. im staying away from the dominion stuff from now on. wanna buy my leftovers?![]()
They cost whatever you are willing to pay. Did you not check around or look at their price prior??
The last couple of years some powder and primers I could not care less what they cost just finding some to buy is a score
Especially Alliant powders
Cheers
I was there getting something else for my son. I always walk past the gun area. I bought the last brick they had. After running them through the till, I almost gave them back. Funny how the price varies across Canada. I paid $59.90. My business will be going somewhere else for primers.
Yikes. Knock on wood I've had no issues with the DA ones as yet. You didn't lighten the hammer springs on your pistols did you?
i paid $37.45 at le baron about one month ago.
