That stock with 3 burst is awesome!

This, my friends, is the original polymer pistol. The granddaddy of them all.
It was definitely a bit before its time. The gun is heavy-ish, really blocky, has a very toy gun like heavy trigger and odd looking sights kind of like the Steyr. It also had a cross bolt safety, like a Rem 870 and the European heel mag release.
Played with them in the 80s. Frankly, they look better now than they did then! I think we are more accustom to the looks of polymer guns now.
The 3 rd burst version is a separate gun. The regular VP70 is not capable of burst fire.

18 rounds of 9mm in a polymer framed...forty six years ago!

Thanks for posting the nude shots JTF#, this gun has a lot going against it but I actually like the straight blow back operation, worked/works well enough for a makarov so why not?

The one question I do have for you is just how awkward the grip feels in the hand? It's strange looking but i've always wondered if it's actually unpleasant.

On the balance I wouldn't mind owning one either, nice find. I even kinda like the look. :)

The grip is very comfortable. One of the most compact double stack 9mm grips I've held -maybe even a little smaller than the CZ75 but i'd have to check.

Lucky for you to have hand-guns . I like GLOCK26 or expensive smallest Swiss 2 inches long mini hand-gun . But Taiwan's law forbid . So I can not have !

The grip isn't bad. the only difference then a gun you might see today is the trigger is very far away from your finger and the trigger guard is so far ahead you cant put your other finger over it for stability.
i am hoping we get a nice day soon so i can go shoot it. i can let you know more info then.
i wish i could get that stock! i bet they are prohib in canada tho.

Some civilian models with the stock were made though they are very rare. One of the members here has one. Obviously not burst capable.
