Well let's say you were firing under water or going into beaches and getting your gun into all sorts of good stuff, the glock and all striker fired pistols are at a serious disadvantage because if anything gets into your striker assembly well your outta luck, with hammer fired you can at least clean the sh#t quicker without having to do a complete takedown
Anyone who seriously considers operators with just pistols coming from underwater shooting session right into a sand storm to be saved by an easy disassembly of sidearms... needs to hold off from government procurement programs until an age of reason - at least like 12 years old.

you dont even have to remove the slide from the pistol to clean the striker channel or remove the striker, just lock the slide back, remove back plate, and striker/channel are all accessible..... takes abut 1 minute.

I get that but look at the HK VP9 test by military arms.... It's a piece of sh#t, so let's say your in a firefight and you have to dive into water in order to save your life, and water gets into the striker assembly your f#ck sev n ways to Sunday were as something like a sig wouldn't be as bad

Ok I got to ask you who provided you that information? Rest assured that pricing is not that cheap on a Glock, Last time the FBI purchased the Glock .40 S&W pistols it cost a lot more than that, also federal agencies in the US get set pricing & The pricing that you had been given is pie in the sky !!

And your source is? You seem to be pretty sure of your information. What was the cost to the FBI when they purchased their last order of 40Cal Glocks? Saying it "cost a lot more than that" is not an answer.
