Next evolution of precision rifles ....
Our government demanding by law that every home must have one and a min. of 1000 rounds (both given to each home by gov.). Also, a certain amount of (gov. paid for) training required by family members of a certain age per year .... ala what the Swiss do.
I dream in common sense.
To be honest seeing what the US is pushing lasers to do the next big leap is not going to be a kinetic energy weapon. A two man team can currently carry a unit (think an M2 MG) that can engage a man sized target out to 2km, 100% of the time. The fact that the beam rides the mirage right into the target surprised me.
-Bipods that are designed to work not only when used in prone, but also on barricades when folded up.

-Retractable or fold-able barricades stops along the bottom and sides of the stock.
Not retractible, but MPA now has QD barricade stops for their chassis.

It's a nice chassis. I'm really not a fan of chassis though... Wish I was because it's so easy to put a collapsible stock on many of them.
-Fore-ends or accessories to allow the barrel to be put through small openings and supported instead of having to push the bipod feed against the wall to avoid resting the barrel on the edge.
-Larger and more aggressive barricade stops on the front of bottom metal.
-Retractable or fold-able barricades stops along the bottom and sides of the stock.
-Stocks with LOP that can be adjusted on the fly as needed, like an AR collapsible stock, but not as sloppy. (longer for prone, shorter for positional/barricades, real short for standing shots)
