$250 deposit.

I'll be more intersted when they finish the 1911 codes and fixtures then I'll be able to cut checkering, under cutting and flat topping.

It finishes the 80 percent lowers, not a raw billet of aluminum. You can get a $150 jig that will allow you to do the same thing.

That said, it's pretty cool. Great in the States, but in Canada your finished lower needs a serial number and has to be shipped to the CFC to be verified.

They verified mine over the phone and with 3 pictures sent to the RCMP-SFSS. And mine was made from a solid chunk of aluminum.

$150 for the just jig and how much for a good grill press?

You're not getting it. It's worth every penny because you can assemble as many ARs in your garage as you want -- all unregistered. Think bigger!!! The possibilities are endless. Think out of the box ;-)

For what you can get a complete mil spec lower for including anodising, it just isn't worth it

Absolutely! That's the whole point!!! Criminals don't care! And we already have laws that punish killing other people -- still people are killed. All these gun laws in the U.S. that they talk about only apply to law abiding citizens. If someone wants a massive shootout, they can buy this thing and make a dozen of ARs and go do stuff with them. Same in any other country -- saw what they did in Paris?? And France has very restricted gun ownership indeed. No AKs for sure :)

That would be against multiple laws and highly illegal...

Those semi-ready aluminum billets are sold left and right on the Internet. No registration required.

not in Canada , they are more expensive than a complete lower here , assuming you can find someone that has them in stock ........

and they are extremely difficult to get out of the states , they are a itar controlled item there .....this means if you are caught exporting the from the states without the proper paperwork , you can be extradited to the states to face charges and prison time .

Thinking outside the box is fine.
Discussing illegal activity is not.
Stop now.

Are you instructing me to stop discussing this as a Moderator of this forum or just as a user?
Is discussing Paris Shooting Attacks fall into the category of "discussing illegal activity"? Just want to know where the policy or you as Moderator draw the line between "allowed" discussions and "not allowed" discussions.
The point that I am trying to put across here is that all those gun regulations are futile if those CNC machines fall into the hands of evil doers as they will be capable of producing unregistered ARs in mass numbers.

Please review Rule 1 in Forum Rules and Terms. Read carefully. The warning you received from tootall is very explicit.
