Are 855 green tips allowed in most 3 gun matches?

Where I shoot 3gun, they use a magnet. If the magnet sticks to your bullet or shotgun shell, it's a match DQ.

The challenge is, with dozens of shooters using all different sorts of ammo we won't know until it's too late if someone is damaging our steel targets. That is why any projectile that sticks to a magnet is not permitted at our matches.
 
Magnetism is not a nuclear property so no need to say depleted...

Uranium is paramagnetic so it would pass the check at the range...

uranium metal would be attracted to a typical refrigerator magnet, but the attraction would be so weak that you would need sensitive instruments to detect it.

Yep, not worth the risk to the investment in equipment.
