When this thread came up i started looking at DD'S again and now I'm thinking I need a MK12 on top of the Tavor I'm after lol.

OP which model are you leaning towards?

Is there that much of a difference in weight between the regular and the light weight?

I bought a DD M4V7 lw at Calgary Shooting Centre and they had the regular contour barrel V7 as well. I don't remember the exact difference between weight but you could easily feel the difference

Love my V11 LW. The keymod slim rail is very thin. That with the lightweight barrel make it easy to whip around. In my opinion the furniture is ###y, makes it look very sharp, and has a great texture to it.

Mk18 for me next!!

it's the m4 v9 lightweight. Lightweight it is! without the eotech brick on it, it's incredibly light. I recently dished out $$ on a gg&g quick release mount, so I can shoot with just the buis once in a while. It works great - can take the sight on and off without losing zero.

agreed. it's a S&J hardware tactical comp. It made a huge difference in recoil after I installed it. It's a great comp for the money. I also got one of their linear comps for my 7.5" NEA 7.62x39 beast - throws flames without bothering my fellow shooters beside me at the range

I have a VG6 gamma with Cage on my DDM4A1 and without the cage on there she shoots out a good size fireball as well! With the cage on its not to bad

I looked the VG6 Gamma up and that looks like it would be very effective at reducing recoil.

I have a brake from Dlask on my 10.5" 5.56 upper and it's like shooting a 22 rifle .. (recoil wise). With the right kind of ammo it will throw flames 3, 4 feet out the sides!

it's the magpul xtm handstop kit. I have it on 2 of my AR rifles. I really like them - it's comfortable and keeps it small, light and tidy
