Hi Ardent, I've read enough of your posts to know you like controlled round feed rifles. I just noticed you're trading/selling some Winchesters and the only trade you want is Kimbers. I haven't brought myself to be a Kimber fan yet so I'm wondering what drives your desire?
I like the Montana fine and the Mountain Ascent has its own appeal mostly chamber options. I've heard stories of different stainless rifles not being equal in weather resistance and I could imagine that being a factor in your guiding area. What else is there? Reliability? Ease of field stripping? Simplicity of trigger or safety?
Just a curious gun nut,
Willy
