Probably not even considered a forging, so likely not ITAR controlled either.

That and 3D printers the 'powers that be' may want to consider actually dealing with the criminal use of 'things' as opposed to trying to regulate the heck out of inanimate objects!

If you make AR15 receivers in Canada, without a license, even in polymer, wouldn't one be one of those criminal fellas?

Yes, and you're missing the point if you don't see how the fact that one can so easily make their own receivers renders any gun control attempt completely futile.

Nice, it would be easy to add steel inserts for strength. I mean for a serial number.
I don't know how strong the resin is, but presumably stronger resins will become available.
Anyhoo, time to register resin!

I'ld rather NOT give the rcmp any ideas of what to add to their conspired legislation with the lieberals.

I love the idea though.

No. Anyone can make a firearm in Canada, but if it's a restricted design, you need to register it once complete. Making one is not illegal. I've built many firearms at home and registered them. Totally allowable.

Awesome...even if it cracks over time, you can just print another.

Love technology, its been rendering govt control obsolete since the internet got started

Making a lower for an AR 15 isnt at all like making a gun........ Thats like me 3D printing some AKM furniture for my VZ and saying " Canadas gun laws are useless, AK's can be made in a bedroom" .......... NO, its more like making a plastic buttstock, or a Barbie toy, or a model airplane. It bares no pressure, no extreme force, no moving components, no extreme wear and the list goes on..., and on Pointless thread.

Except for the fact that every part of an AR-15 with the exception of the easy to make lower is not registered... Thread has a point.... and that point is that gun control is sh*t

Except the lower is the registered "firearm"
