I should clarify, I'm talking about high gloss refinishing and checkering on Walnut stocked over/under competition trap guns.
Though i'll definitely check out TacOrd for my rifle work.
Gunco in Ottawa does perhaps the best bluing around, including very high gloss if that is what you want. They do NOT use buffing wheels, it's all down properly with no "melted" appearance afterward. They offer pointed hand checkering, but it's rather expensive and they are pretty backed up where checkering is concerned.
Gunco does not specialize in shotguns specifically, but they DO specialize in high end bluing and often do restoration work on high-end stuff like Purdey, H&H, Merkel, etc.
Jason has a personal love of doubles and cape guns, works on them a LOT.
