Barricade Stops on Manners Stocks

The location of it is where a rifle with a MP barrel would balance without adding any weight to the stock. I'm sure that isn't a coincidence. It doesn't help for standing shots unfortunately...

Looks like Manners has also implemented the adjustable on the fly LOP:

There were a couple things I saw, that seemed to meet a lot of your "wishes". A lot of cool things to come for 2016 I think!

I don't get it. How does this help?

Because LOP should be shorter for standing shots than for prone because your head is upright. Should be in between for kneeling.

This allows you to optimize the LOP on the fly for the position you're shooting in.

the Manners adj deal wont be available as a stock for a year...Badger owns the rights to sell them as a 300 blackout kit with a 14 inch barrel for back pack kits and they will only sell em as a complete gun....you lose the adj cheek too in that stock which sucks.

Still awesome to see these ideas becoming reality. Once they're out, they will spread like wild fire and these will be features that will become common once people understand the advantages. Precision rifles are about to go through a big jump in evolution. Very exciting times!

On the fly lop looks awesome! I hope a manufacturer comes out with an aftermarket add on that can be installed on other stocks!

I want that right now for my manners stock lol!

Great to see a stock maker putting out some really interesting and useful ideas.

I think the barricade brace is too far forward BUT that will depend on how you set up your rifle and where things balance.

The LOP quick change is a great... got an idea that will be much simplier in operation and far lighter.... just need some time to implement

At the end of the day, options and adjustments are going to come aplenty now.

This the most dynamic I have seen the aftermarket is quite some time... good for the sport... good for the industry as a whole.

Watching the release of yet another AR forend was getting to be painful :)

For a PRS rifle, the stock doesn't need to go that short. It looks very possible to add something like a Karsten cheek rest to it. It could also be attached to the butt plate and move with it.

It opens the door to a lot of possibilities now that the hardware has been developed.

While push button quick adjust LOP is not new, it is nice to see a synthetic stock come out with this feature.

That set up looks WAY more complicated then it needs to be and you will loose your comb which is ubber important to me.

I am sure someone with a milling machine, or even a drill press can just make their own.. 2 rods going through a couple of plates... not really rocket science here.

you can get fancy with the QD latch but that is only a notched pin with a spring behind captured in the plate. I wouldn't get that fancy cause it is just one more thing to hang up with dirt and jam.

Ball parking the butt pad set up pictured would be in the 8 to 10 oz range.. maybe more. I am thinking 1 to 2 oz for mine.

Simplify... PRS is still a civy game.

It's to bite into the barricade. Diamond shaped knurling would be better, IMO.

Heavier is better from a balance point of view.

You've got a lot of military shooters shooting these matches and taking stuff back to their units. A couple of the instructors at CORE are SOF guys. Shannon who owns K&M is a Capt. in the US Army (started off as enlisted). Apparently, some have even started to bring things like the Todd Tac-pad into the field.
