Hey guys
Looking to get into the precision game but need some expert advice.
I want to get a new rifle, I currently have a browning blr in 270wsm but want something that's bolt action around $700, heavy barrel and suitable for long range.
This gun would be for long range punching paper but I also wouldn't mind taking it put on a couple coyote wolf and possibly deer hunts.
Anyways I was looking at the weatherby wby-x kryptek highlander rifle and it seems like a good rifle guaranteed sub moa at an affordable price. But I also was looking at the Remy 700 sps and they feel and act quite the same.
Is the weatherby a good platform for starter. I know the aftermarket isn't as good as Remy or even savage. The main things I want to do is a dbm to accept aics mags, a stock or chassis and a good scope base.
What you all think?
