Was in the local wally world tonight . Decided to see if they had any .22 ammo. Noticed they had Bucket o bullets in stock for a decent price so I decided to get one. Asked passer by employee if they could give me some ammo out of the case they reply with "No because hunting is bad" then laughed it off and said "just kidding, I will page someone for you". 5 minutes later no associate. Asked the next employee to page someone, 5 minutes later still no associate. Asked another employee to page someone, another 5 goes buy and still no luck. Stopped another employee and said, been waiting a while could you please call a manager? Finally after a few more pages a manager comes by and I ask her for the bucket o bullets, her reply was "bucket o bullets?" "how many bullets come in a bucket?" I said about 1400 I think. She says "What are you an American?" WTF?

Wonder what would have happened if you said you were an American? Personally havent had .22 in stock at Walmart to be able to try and buy it. I know some people here really hate Canadian Tire, but when I bought ammo from them last the guy helping me out asked if I wanted more because he had some in the back. Couldnt believe the good customer service I got.

I would reply that "I am not a very good shot"
Chuckle and buy the ammo...

I am sure that most Walmart employees are just happy to have someone to talk to.

I have bought a lot of ammo at Walmart , and have never had a problem. Very few Walmart employees have access to the keys for the glass cabinets , so it slows the process down if they have to call for assistance .I assume that only an employee with a PAL can handle ammo , and access the cabinet...

My local Wallymart has an empty shelf for Yellow Jackets for $15 a brick, waiting for some boxes to show up on the shelf so I can buy 'em.....

Its walmart. What did you expect?
As posted staff member must have PAL. From what I know working at CT, you need it.
So out of 100 staff members how many have PALs. My guess is 2 maybe 3 at most.
Atleast you got your ammo!

Haha, the irony. I'd be more embarrassed that I was working at Walmart then I would be worried that someone wanted to buy a bucket-o-bullets...

I always get a laugh at how awkward the drones at CT get when I buy ammo, 9mm or .45uto especially. The cashiers always squirm the most.
