If the LEO wasn't in uniform, the character in this fairly tale has about as much credibility as someone on CGN claiming there even was a cop spreading fear-mongering bull$hit stories.

If it happened to me, I would ask to see the manager/owner. Then I'd hand them whatever I was buying, tell them that I'm not longer interested in making a purchase as I don't like being harassed while I shop and leave.

lol, you obviously never shot one and compared with other bullpups, like are you kidding me, have you seen the complete shiat out there these days? Unless you are basing your comparison on looks, i base it on the fact that it feeds, goes bang and extracts every single facking time.

Any other bullpup is a POS compared to the tavor

as far as ARs go, a top tier AR will be better than anything, a low tier AR will not be better than a Tavor.

but thats all moot because in california you cant own an AR15, and in Canada they are range toys only with strict transport and storage laws.

Whereas here in Canada I could sling my unloaded tavor across my shoulders and go for a stroll around town. Strongly not advisable, but entirely legal as far as firearms regulations.

hey I was at abby friday, but shooting for groups was almost imposdible too much wind, so played around with the tavor.

Ill be back at abby on the 25th, heading to LA this friday.
 
I had the same sort of thing happen when I was shooting at the range a couple of years ago. I had an leo tell me vz-58 that I was shooting was getting banned, he obviously didn't know the particulars because it was ultimately the cz-858 that made the prohib list but I wouldn't be surprised if there is another prohibition in the works. The question isn't when will it happen it's how, once there is a means to accomplish another gun grab it'll probably happen very quickly.

it would have to be done by oic, or by passing a new law. IIRC they cant change the classification after a year, theyfixed that bs last year remember.
 
Relax, most LEO types know very little about firearms and their respective laws in detail. I have had several interactions with them in this regard and came away stunned with some of their commentary and interpretations. Hopefully you just had the misfortune to run into one who considers himself an "authority" as a small minority do on occasion. Again, relax.

Was at a local range awhile back and some LEO types were eyeballing some of my guns. One came over to ask why I would feel the need to own such an "Arsenal" and I replied ," because I legally can and isn't Canada a great place to live with such freedoms that we enjoy?....have a nice day officers".... Sure they got my plate number when I left......��

Sounds like a guy who needs to feel superior and one-up you by claiming knowledge that you're not privy to -- knowledge intended to knock you and your rifle down a notch.

Ok so we had a bit of a Friendly Fire incident. I misunderstood what onetwentyish said as Fudd'ism and went in full bore. We have exchanged some PMs and its all good. So i Apologize for being a ####. I will try and fine tune my Fudd Radar to avoid this in the future.

Why? It was funny. I've even had SQ officers flip their s**t over a 715T with a lot of eye candy attached. I do it on purpose now. Still waiting to get a range finder for it. ;)
 
Well it was such a nice day yesterday I took my Tavor out for some shooting south of town because being NR I can do that and proceeded to enjoy the afternoon. Having shot close to 2000 rounds now and not a single malfunction of any kind including 1000 steel cased Tula I plan on enjoying my Tavor for years and years and years and years.
