NEA 15 7.62x39

Rules are rules I suppose. Better than buying a new rifle!

Rules are rules until the customer is pissed. I would have demanded they pay for return shipping as well. If they did, then perhaps I'd be singing their praises. Things being as they are, I too am left "gobsmacked" by your comments.

Up until now, I have always recommended NEA barrels. Mine was very accurate. How can you mess up a barrel when the blanks are made by someone else? After seeing your barrel extension left shattered after four rounds, I found out.

It seems to me now that you're taking your chances when you buy anything NEA.

To the OP, seriously consider Windham. Had mine for awhile now, excellent rifle and great company to deal with.

I guess I have low expectations, I don't feel entitled to special treatment.

Just reading through lots here guys, great info. Seems to me it is true that the Gen 2 NEA rifles are better then the Gen 1. Now I'm not saying perfect, but a big upgrade none the less. On the side going off the comments posted here and other fourms people still seem to have many problems with some NEA products and mostly service. From pictures and in-depth reviews of the 7.62 AR rifle series there is nothing but good things.

Its hard to say really with the price it is decent for an AR Platform rifle, your supporting our Canadian Market ( Which is very hard and small ) they look great in pictures like decent rifles and anyone that still owns and shoots them loves them.... On the other hand there is lots of negatives with them like failures, and that can get scary when your holding onto something that can explode near your face and hands.

I wholeheartedly agree that when anyone purchases a defective product that it should be replaced at no fuss and no charge. And it probably would have had you done what most people would do which is return it to the place you bought it from (you didn't for your own reasons, I understand that).

I agree with this 100%! If a product is defective or faulty and is proven, no questions asked replaced at the companies cost. When your paying Xs amounts of money to get the product you expect it in full 100% working order none the less it not be able to be used at all. I REALLY agree with this statement when it comes to firearms with the cost, but most importantly the safety of you and the others around.
