I just started reloading for the spring, and press is currently set up for 9mm
Just finished reload 3k+ of my pet load 9mm LRN w/124 grain .356 LRN OAL 1.110" and 4.8 grains of CFE Pistol.
Looking through my supplies I found a bucket of Cactus Plains .355 LRN, and wondering what effect it would be if I used the same charge and OAL. I know the 1 grain is not much effect, but the .355 concerns me in case it may cause the bullets to tumble. The lube is a bit old, so I'm guessing the bullets are at least 10 years old.
I know plated/Jacketed its fine at .355, and most my LRN are .356/.357.
Opinions?
I wouldn't be asking, but due to work, I won't be able to get to the range for a bit.
Thanks in advance.
