High Scope rings for 11mm (CZ) dovetail?

The high rings are not yet mounted, but I have a set of mediums on another rifle, see the pic below

at first I was unhappy with the fit and the unsightly gap....I contacted leupold and they sent me 2 free sets of rings to try out (ended up not using them)...in the end I am happy with them, they hold zero and are on my grouse/rabbit truck gun which doesn't always get treated nicely...I just prefer the look of the luepolds on my rifles over the talleys, the gap is only cosmetic and my OCD got over it fairly quickly

Try fitting those round top rings on a flat top 455. Man they are horrible.

One would expect proper fitment on rings of this price. Even with the keeper flipped they still look like crap. Wonder if leupold ever fixed this issue.
Maybe leupolds theory is if you place them with the keeper on the opposite side of the bolt it will give you extra clearance from the bolt handle lol

This is on a cz ? Do you have the piece upside down... I noticed I had a large gap, it looked odd... loosened it off flipped it around and it was just upside down... Fits almost right on now... Very little gap.

Amazon.ca had steel Warne 7.3 high rings a month or so ago for $35 with free shipping. Hard to beat that ring at that price. I bought a set of medium for my Leupold and a set of high to fit my Nikon.
The clamp flips top to bottom for either 3/8 or 11 mm.
Happy with both.

Has anyone used BKL rings and bases. dvor has a sale on if you can get them delivered to Canada.

This is the site for Int'l distributors . . . one in BC and the other in Ont.

Horseman:
I have used BKL 257s in "normal height". They are self centring aluminium rings and fit the CZ 11 mm dovetail fine. Quite high even in the "normal height". I only use them when I need to mount a larger scope over the rear sight while testing accuracy of a new/improved CZ with open sights. I got them from D&L Airguns in BC.

i tried burris high airgun rings and leupold high 11 mm rings and i was not satisfied with the fitment on either - they both canted off to one side and just didnt look right. apparently certain burris rings you can flip the clamp upside down but the model i had purchased did not work like that

i ordered some talley high vertical-split rings off amazon for about $60 and the fit was perfect, would recommend checking those rings out. the vertical split is kindof a pain mounting but a simple design and centered the scope dead on, no tilting off to one side

Have to second BKL as a good choice.

I have BKL-301 30 mm mounts on mine and am very satisfied with the fit and finish. About 2 cm of clearance with a Bushnell Tactical 3-12 x 44 mm. The 1" tube versions have the same height form action to underside of scope tube (only rings size per se is different between 30 mm and 1" versions). I would qualify BKL mounts as medium-high.

If you go with BKL mounts, be sure to take the time finding a good price as certain places sale them at a ridiculous price. Here's a picture form the manufacturer to make sure your scope would fit:

I bought a bunch of sets off ebay for about $6 each and they seem to be nicely made, screw down firmly and even, and hold zero so far on a .22

When I was scoping my CZ452 Varmint last year, I read a ton on RFC about who likes what rings for CZs, and why. There was a ton of love for the Warne 722 (which are the high) rings so I ordered some from Amazon.ca. (my first purchase from Amazon btw) They were a great price, free shipping, were on my front porch literally 2 days later. In recent weeks, I'd decided to scope a couple of other rimfire rifles so I ordered 2 more pairs of these from Amazon Sunday night, they were on my front porch when I got home from work last night. I like BKL products too, and have ordered them from D&L a few times. They've served me well, but are a little overpriced considering how well the Warne ones work. The Warne ones are minimal-looking, not big/chunky affairs. I don't see myself using anything else going forward.

I just mounted my Vortex 4x12 on my new CZ 455, ordered Talley 1 inch high rings online at Amazon.ca, shipped in 3 days, they work great, plenty of clearance for the bolt handle. Medium rings won't work

I cannot find high rings anywhere for my CZ 455 that has 11mm dovetail. Can someone please help me find a source. I have a bushnell 3-12x 40mm rimfire scope that I want to mount and my medium Burris rings are too low.

Someone in the EE has a set listed in the optics section ...this was last week mind you.
Failing that try Reliable they usually have a great selection of rings for the CZ and Burris would be my second choice with Leupold the first.
Thats just me though.
