H 322 is a great powder in .223 reloads!

Haha. I just reloaded some .223:

23x H322@23.5gr with Hornady 50gr SPSX
66x H322@24.5gr with Nosler 40gr Varmageddon FBHP
53x H335@26.5gr with Nosler 40gr Varmageddon FBHP

A little more medicine for the gopher patch!

Did 35 rounds of 44russian 200gr rnfp soft lead. Half 4.5gr half 5gr Unique.

Then 40 rounds of 45-70 with 480gr soft Lee bullets and home made lube. Packed on top of 65gr goex FFg drop tubed and compressed 0.25" and a 0.030" wad made from cork gasket.

50 rounds of 223, 60 gr vmax under 26 grs of varget @ maglength. Primed 50 brand new lapua cases, the amount of force required to seat primers was crazy. I guess I did have loose primer pockets?

100 brand new lapua with 175 smk and 43.5 varget. I acutally got 101 cases in the first new box of brass I opened this year. Good luck sign, I think so.

Also printed up some decals for my ammo boxes, this way I can keep track of firings and other stats.

Loaded some .45 auto for the first time.

10 rounds 5.6 gn Unique
10 rounds 5.7 gn Unique

230 gn campro FCP RN
Win large pistol primers
1.240 C.O.A.L

Loaded on a hornady lock and load single stage press.

Trying to find a IPSC load that just meets PF, so at least 750 FPS

Should be getting my chronograph early next week, then I can head to the range and test it out.

Also waiting for my pistol rotor and pistol metering insert to arrive so that I don't have to weigh out each and every load.

Decapped and washed the 310 pieces of .44mag brass (1 went missing somewhere) from this morning. And decapped about 500 pieces of crimped primer .223/5.56 brass. Grrrrrrrr....... Really looking forward to swaging it all, not!

Just finished reloading another new small test batch, this time .40 S&W and again first time reloading.

10 rounds 4.1 gns Power Pistol
10 rounds 4.2 gns Power Pistol

180 gn FCP TC campro
Winchester small pistol primer
Winchester range pick up brass
1.125 C.O.A.L

This is a .40 lite load for IPSC production class with my FNS-40L, hoping for around 750 FPS so 135 PF. Had to guess the gns required as my hornady reloading manual only went down to 850 FPS but it seemed that 50 FPS, was about .6 gns.

Got 100 pcs WCC 5.56 FL sized, primer pockets uniformed, trimmed and primed. Loaded 20 rds with 23.0 gr H335 and 55 gr VMAX to test the XCR when it gets here.

How well does that cfe powder work?

Unfortunately that batch is still sitting there, got sidetracked with gearing up for a 3 gun match this past weekend, so was working on finalizing my 9mm competition loads in particular, and CFE works VERY well there! Plan on making time this coming weekend for this .38 test group.
