Just received my NP29. Seems like a good solid handgun. Heavier than my GSG .22. We'll know soon how it shoots. Anyone have problems with the Mags. I can only get 4 rounds in one of them. Seems to jam up.

Congrats on the np....mine were well built, solid shooters, little sharp around some edges but flawlessly reliable...they can be tuned if it bothers you....strip the mag and see if something is catching up...4 rounds isn't right...should be simple to fix......enjoy..

I have the same issue with one of my mags. The follower gets caught in a hole in the side of the mag. I just push my finger into the hole hard when I load it. It's enough to direct the follower farther down in the mag

Ok. I see the problem. Popped the follower up a bit with a screw driver & used a dremel to grind off some of the notch. Works fine now. It was catching on the one of the holes on mag.

Hey
congrats on your new purchase.
pics of your new gun would be great and what dealer did you purchase from. if you don't mind.
I'm still on the fence on my first 9mm purchase , I already have a bunch of calibers but no 9mm and I'm cheap so don't want to spend alot.
Glenn.

I Acutally just got one from Durham.
Polished her all up. Switched out all the spring with Wolff, Striped/blued the sights so I can actually see them. switched out the grips.
ordered a new trigger too. the stock one has a wobble to it.

Love my NP29 and NP27 and GSG 1911-22, all of them quite reliable and very good value.

I picked up my NP29 with 5 mags, all of them functioned without issue. CanadaAmmo had those (NP29) mags for $24.99 each. Can't seem to find them anymore on there website, google cached results shows it was out of stock recently - odd that they removed the item completely.

Man,....I must be the odd man out. I have had 3 of these and each one was problematic with very poor machining & lousy accuracy. I kept buying another,..telling myself the next one would be better...it didn't happen for me. To bad, I love the 1911 in 9 concept.
