I had that 4 round problem. The nose of the first round sticks on the notch cut out,

I'm still on the fence on my first 9mm purchase , I already have a bunch of calibers but no 9mm and I'm cheap so don't want to spend alot.

Man,....I must be the odd man out. I have had 3 of these and each one was problematic with very poor machining & lousy accuracy. I kept buying another,..telling myself the next one would be better...it didn't happen for me. To bad, I love the 1911 in 9 concept.
You can get 1911 rails that attach to the dust cover via two screws. No need to mill anything, just drill two holes.
