If price had gone down would you expect the refund to be the lesser current price. The haters would have a hay day with that one accusing the merchant of every conceivable evil. A refund is a refund, KISS.

EDIT: In fact i am reading alot of bad things about this company. I will not be a customer of this business ever. I feel I cannot trust them.

Ever bought Ammo or guns in Canada at a retailer? Then u probably have bought something that North Sylva has distributed...

NS isn't a retailer. They don't sell to the public. They sell to retailers and dealers. Chances are you've bought their product time and time again. And unless you know who they sell to, you probably will unknowingly several more times.

Whoever is in the wrong here will be outed.

I really really hope that NS keeps this thread open and sets a new standard for all site supporters to NOT censor this type of thing like Putin would. I hope Jo-Brook is reading this, and even Wolverine who locked a thread on me for daring to even mention a bipod that they don't carry....not cool.

If one is isn't doing anything wrong, on neither side, there's no reason to censor things.

If this thread disappears it'll be very telling.....

I assume George is the main guy/owner at NS??? I have my strong doubts that he'd want to screw the OP, however based on the behaviour of his staff in 2015 where they were busted intentionally delaying a warranty return, would it be that much of a stretch to think this could vent a scam by a staff member?? Seems plausible to me.

Again, this is a great opportunity the clear the air.
 
Isn't everyone tired of posting questions in the NS forum and then NEVER GETTING ANSWERS???? They post the new products they're bringing in and then never support these products. I have received two infractions for asking questions or posting my concerns in the North Sylva forum, or better yet - my posts were deleted completely. If this follows suit, this post (and all the others that are negative towards this company) in this thread will disappear and there will be a whole lot of pink people who posted in this forum very soon.......
 
Why would NS pay for shipping both ways for warranty service? It's great if they offer it but no reasonable person would expect that. What's next, expecting a loaner gun while waiting for the repair ?? People need to learn to pick up the phone and solve their problems before posting to social media or calling the CBC...

This just convinced me to avoid NS like the plague. OP you should post this on your original post to completely deflate NS's response. What a bunch of lieing scammers NS are.
 
I don't see what all the fekkin drama is all about. Take the refund or ship the rifle for repairs. I really can't get twisted over whether the gun is shipped by Loomis, Purolator or Copulator. I concur with an earlier commenter about potential psychological issues. This is a tempest in a teapot.

In the OP rebuttle, you can clearly see the date is January 11th. That was the last time he communicated with us until March 17th. Between January and March, Purolator has become fussy shipping firearms without proper COS documents which is why Loomis or Canada Post was recommend.

Really not much to talk about there.

I think this thread has been taken just about as far as it can go at this point.

I concur. the OP has received more attention than he deserves.
 
If that email is real and not forged or counterfeit and NS actually sent that telling him to ship the rifle Purolator (getting is confiscated ) they need to be banned from this site.....or the OP banned for producing phoney emails ......someone's getting banned WHO'S IT GONNA BE?
