I need some help and some opinions.
I have 4 ars:
6920 with NSR, aimpoint
CC 15.7, aimpoint
CC IUR, elcan
Self built cc mk12, nightforce

Ive been thinking of doing what a friend of mine did and sell all my ARs and my aimpoints except the mk12 and the elcan to buy a top notch mv. I would keep the mk12 for 3 gun

What do you think? Opinions welcomed.

I have been thinking of doing something similar. There an awesome looking unit, I say go for it try out something new and non restricted.

I sold a bunch of restricted and a .223 csa that were collecting dust for mint used xcr that I use alot. Felt a little overwhelming at first but in the long run im glade I did it

I wouldn't do it. The modern hunter internals are just a DPMS gen 1 BCG with an American Spirit Arms copied notch for the charging handle. It's non restricted but realistically it's a DPMS first gen rifle with a bunch of window dressing in a non restricted form. The non restricted aspect is really it's biggest selling feature.

There's a modern hunter thread on another forum which breaks down the BCG mystery with the MH. A bit of an eye opener.

Maybe you will get lucky and they will cut the notch in a quality BCG for the MV. Or you can buy one and have it done. In that case then you should be ok if replacing one of your decent AR rifles.

Ultimately it depends on how you will be using the firearm. Varmint/commercial grade target rifle and you should be fine. Non restricted makes sense then. Higher volume hard use and CQB style.... Keep your AR rifles.

That being said if you must get one, I could use a good low priced Aimpoint!
