That is super Brad, but my rifle is long since fixed.
Be interesting to see a pic of a RH and LH ejector beside each other.
Far more interesting than the current OCD show on this thread.![]()

Glad you got it fixed..... Would have made a useful addition to post #21.... just sayin'....![]()
No one is questioning the legitimacy of his claim. But I will tell you emphatically that modifying the existing part will be quicker and much less painful.
My LH Guide Gun 375R has same ejector. Just can't fit 3 down I guess. Looks like the bolt holding front of floor plate in is rubbing on the inside of the plate
Which bolt are you referring to?..... My .338 WM guide gun fits three in handily.... Could you post a pic?.... I wouldn't be happy with a a 2 round file......
Is yours left handed?
Chuck, do LH Winchesters or Montana 1999's use Left Hand followers?
No.... but that may have nothing to do with the issue if there is a bolt interfering with the floor plate..... The righties and lefties share a floor plate, and as far as I can see share the same ejector....
RH LH does make a difference because the issue is occurring with a fully loaded magazine, and with the RH follower, the top round is under the ejector in a LH rifle
Todbartell has two rifles... one is left hand one is right hand..... The left hand rifle has an issue.... but that doesn't mean it has an issue because it is a lefty.... The issue may be generic.....
Yes it does.
Both rifles use a RH follower, so in a RH rifle, the top round is on the opposite side of the ejector, on a LH rifle the top round is under
the ejector.
According to the OP, on the LH rifle the ejector is catching on the top round.

with the mag box removed the rifle holds 3 down with ease
So, stock or mag box problem?
