You may run into a few issues here...
As some have said, $200 won't get you too far in optics - especially if you want to hit what you can't see.
If you go with a two piece base and ring combo, you may have limited eye relief due to your long action. A better quality scope will aid in this.
If, for budget reasons, you need to keep the scope at $200...
1. Buy Leupold or Burris dovetail bases. Then buy their rings and make sure the front ring is an extension base ring. You will only need medium height if running a 40mm objective.
2. On the more pocket friendly front, buy Weaver bases and make sure the front base is an extension base. Weaver has a chart on their website to guide you. Then, as said earlier, buy Weaver steel rings - again, medium height will do.
The extension bases are very important in this case. They will help bring the scope back and offer the precious eye relief needed at heaver magnification.
I would be leery of a Vortex Crossfire II. They say it can handle the recoil; however, they are not really well suited for a thumper such as yours.
